A Message from the SDWGA Board of Directors

After many years of bringing South Dakota farmers, agriculture professionals, and industry partners together for an event of learning and connection, the SDWGA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to suspend the Ag Horizons Conference for the time being. There will not be an Ag Horizons Conference in 2026.

Ag Horizons has always been a special event, and one we’ve been proud to host. But like many gatherings across the industry, it has struggled to fully regain its footing since COVID, and the board felt it was the right time to step back and reevaluate rather than continue as-is.

We want to thank the many partners, sponsors, speakers, and participants who made Ag Horizons possible over the years. Your support, your ideas, and your willingness to show up year after year built something that genuinely served South Dakota agriculture. We’re grateful for every partnership and every conversation that came out of this event.

While Ag Horizons is on pause, our commitment to providing valuable education and networking opportunities for South Dakota producers hasn’t changed. We are working on new education efforts to bring our members and partners together, and we’ll share updates as future plans take shape.
